Annual General Meeting 2009
The EXCO of the Sri Lanka Aeronautical Society at its last committee meeting held on the 15th October 2009 decided to hold the second Annual General Meeting on the 19th of December 2009 at the CATTA. The time and Agenda will be posted on or before 19th November 2009.
The Committee also proposed the following members for the respective positions as office bearers for the next Annual General Meeting.

- Mr. P Gopal - Asst. Secretary
- Mr. H Herath - Treasurer
- Mr.D Weerasinghe - EXCO Member
- Mr. Rohan Mannakulasuriya - EXCO Member
- Mr.H.C Wimalaratne - EXCO Member
- Gp.Capt Wijesiri - EXCO Member
- Capt. D. Thambapille - EXCO Member
- Capt. Ravi Darmathilaka - EXCO Member
- Mr.Gunsekara - EXCO Member
The above shall be considered notice to all members; (Please note that verbal commitment has been obtained from the above members, pending written commitment).
Membership is herby given notice to forward their reservations to the general Secretary on or before 02 November 2009.
In accordance with the Constitution of the SLAeS, after the issue of the above notice, any 10 members may nominate within two weeks but not later than; any other duly qualified person who is a member, as a candidate for election to any one or more of the said offices, by depositing such nominations with the Secretary with the written consent of the nominee to accept office if elected. No member may nominate more than two candidates for the same office in any year.
